"Visited with two friends, one Russian-speaking, on a slow Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere was pleasant, even though the place was nearly empty--a kind of Middle EasternCentral Asian feel. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. I had kutabi, which are flavored pancakes stuffed with lamb or vegetables -- I had one of each, and they were delicious. For a main course, I had the braised short ribs, which were perfect. My friends liked their entrees of sea bass and Uzbek pilau. Main courses and drinks were reasonably priced, with most entrees in the mid $20 range 2 lower, 2 higher. Service was friendly, though a little slow for suchs a slow afternoon. it was useful to have a Russian-speaking friend for the explanations. Drinks were reasonably priced. A very pleasant experience."

"Beautiful Atmosphere, very oily and heavy creamy dishes, 2.5 star service is what you get for ala carte dining. Sea Bass Fish was cooked in an unnecessary extremely creamy and oily sauce, Try the sea bass at some of the Japanese restaurants and you will get a fish that tastes much better and is much healthier, baked with a lot less sauce. The other dishes Lamb something also as oily as it comes, Potatoes with Oyster Mushrooms pan fried with heavy oil. The service, while the service was very attentive, the server clearly made a mistake by putting in an extra dinner, we asked what is better between two and ordered the second one, instead he brought out both and right away realized we didn't order it, he stated it's okay I'll take care of it "it's my problem". He multiple times asked us to try the "Dolma" which once again we did not order, we both tried a piece nothing special mind you and purposely left it to the side to show the server multiple times we were not interested in the dish we never ordered. Whatever, the bill comes with the Dolma on it that the server was supposed to "take care of". No big deal just the point. After the dish we both arrive home and fall asleep, something in the food that put two people out instantly, either the oil or something else in the food that clearly knocked us out for the rest of the day and we ate at 3pm."

"Best restaurant on the Island. Superb service, tasty food, cozy ambiance, reasonably priced, excellent bar, good desserts and an amazing tea collection, rarely overcrowded on week days + belly dancing on Saturdays. At times I try to pick another place to frequent, but I always come back very soon, & bring friends who love it too. Highly recommend."
