"OMG SO many things! I went there for lunch with my daughter and 2 grandchildren, ages 3 1 2 yrs. and 1 yr. First - no high chair for my grandson. They only had 2 and they were both in use. I had a grilled chicken club, my daughter had a chicken wrap. The kids had chicken fingers and a grilled cheese. (food was average to bland) We each bought 2 slices of cake to bring home. The bill was $105.00!!!!!! For lunch! I almost passed out! My daughter was taking me out to lunch, but she couldn’t pay for it all! Wth?! AND the cakes were horrible! Especially the turpentine flavored whipped cream. I don’t want to even give this place 1 star!"

"Ordered a few dessert for NYE, they substituted one without asking what we wanted. Isn't that the point of taking customer's phone number? No one wanted the substitute and we are one dessert short for NYE. I'm glad we didn't dinner here too, who knows what we would have gotten."

"This place has gotten a lot better. I believe there are new owners as it is now called just "Dove Diner" rather than "Golden Dove." I come here a couple times a week as it is a local place and open 24x7. I definitely recommend the Gyro Sandwich, nice and big. Also recommend the French Dip Panini, with the Au Jus. And every breakfast dish I've had here has been very good. Waiting staff is excellent. Owner is a very nice guy. Prices are very reasonable. 5 Stars"

"Anyone saying the Dove is dirty should give it another try. I was there recently with my husband and kids. It had been several years since I was there. I was surprised to see it wasn't the dingy old dive of a diner i remembered it to be. The food is better and the service was friendly and efficient. I am ordering delivery tonight."

"This diner really does not deserve any stars but I had too apparently give it 1. After sitting for 15 minutes we we're finally greeted and given menus. Another 10 minutes for our drinks which were waters. When we placed our order our waiter was very rude and rushed us. We had ordered nachos which truly was chips covered in cheese wiz with a salad dumped on top. Save your money and go some plece else."

"I ordered a chicken gyro deluxe. The chicken was blah. The lettuce was giant slimy brown pieces of iceberg lettuce should be romaine. Huge pieces of tomatoes. No feta at all and the tiniest cup of tatziki sauce. So disappointed."

"The Golden Dove has went through recent changes which we have been enjoying. The food used to be on and off, sometimes great, sometimes okay, but we still came here for the convenience. But recently for the past 6 months or so the food has been consistently great. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and even their dinner specials are a great value, great portion and most importantly tastes good."

"This diner is our go to spot. We used to go to Andrews, but after finding a roach on the floor there we decided to try the Dove. The owners are always smiling and we love the cucumber salad they give you as a starter. The food is always great. We especially love their gyro and paninis. Also great Greek salad here."

"This place was a joke, it was mostly empty not too many people they sat us at the table, it took 20 minutes for the waitress to take our order, and another 35 minutes got the food to arrive, when it did arrive the food was horrendous , the soup was cold , then when the entre came the cheese on the hamburger deluxe was old cause the sides of it was hard and darker than the rest the hamburger was undercooked tasted like sh—. They charged me to much for an average hamburger deluxe and my friends lasagna tasted like it was over cooked and horrible similar too microwaveable weight watchers no taste bland and disgusting sauce , the manger billy was rude and nasty and refused to correct the dinnners got us and insisted if we order something else we’d have to pay for that too, I will never eat here again , colanade is so much better quality service and food , this place is terrible in food and service and quite frankly overpriced"
