"Me and my sister have had very bad experience's in this restaurant. Which prompt me to look for a new Haitian, restaurant in Brooklyn, because there's no Haitian restaurant in Manhattan. First, they pile your plate with rice, which is not bad, but when it come to meat items, they are not only scampi with the meat, it seems as though they play favoritism. They give more meat to their friends, and people they like. And when a piece of meat is on the spoon, they put it back and give you soup or vegetables with out meat. It makes you wonder who are they saving the meat for? I have seeing them give more to one and less to others. Their attitude sucks! They speak to you like you have two heads! ask for a name, they refuse to give it to you, and they don't wear badges, so if you wanted to complain against someone, you wouldn't know who to complaint against. When you ask to speak to a manager, he is never there. They give the worse attitude when you try to complain by phone. I did that today, and was met with fierce attitude when I ask to speak with the manager, got hunged up on. This left me no choice but to write this bad review. I won't be going there anymore, and don't recommend it to anyone in town or visitors from out of town or any tourist. In this country customers are always right. In this restaurant customers are always wrong. DONT EAT THERE! You can look up other Haitian restaurants in Brooklyn. You will find plenty that are more pleasant then Karl's. I am sure if MR. Karl's, knew about all this he would put his foot down, because he will loose loyal customers like me and my sister. I gave them too many chances.
