"Finally!!!! A real authentic Mediterraneanmiddle eastern restaurant on the south shore. We have some of the best Italian restaurants but it's really all you can get out here. Anyway When I saw the coming soon sign I was skeptical because I'm Middle eastern and can tell when a place is just posing and serving people crap. But thank god the food here is actually very good and the owners are actually middle eastern. I started slow and walked in to order justone chicken shawerma gyro and one meat shawerma. The place is beautiful and The owner came out and greeted me. Spoke to me while my food was being prepared. He actually cares about his customers. He threw in several free samples so I can try them out. I got home and it was a bag full of food. Falafel, hummus, salad mahamamara and it was all fresh and delicious. If this place keeps up with the quality of food they put out today, they will be in business forever. We are definitely gonna be regulars here! Good luck on the new business."

"Being Greek I was hoping Laila would be decent!!!! Well it was delicious, the favors were superb. Not too over powering just perfect!!! The baba gnoush was the best I’ve ever tasted. This place made it to the top of my list!!! Thank you for coming to Staten Island!!!"

"My family has been eating here since they opened we ordered take out, ate in , they even delivered to us when we couldn’t come get it and they don’t usually offer delivery. The food here is outstanding, sandwich for lunch, full 5 course dinner and even a special occasions birthday. Laila has never I mean not one single time disappointed. The food here is so good and the owner husband and wife are welcoming and accommodating. It is the only cuisine of its type if you haven’t tried Mediterranean food you are truly missing out. Salads are fresh, plates are abundant, bread is warm, sauces homemade, prices affordable to eat in a regular basis."
