This place is amazing! The food is fresh and delicious. I order from hear at least once a week and its always perfect.

West Indian cuisine has long been a bit of a hole in the culinary landscape of Staten Island. Holland Bay is helping to fill that hole with some delicious Jamaican style cooking. Thus far, everything that I tried has been really good. Curry goat (my personal favorite), curry chicken, stewed oxtails, all served with rice and peas and steamed vegetables have been excellent. I'm used to having escovitch fish made with king fish, but the version here made with whiting is quite good. On Wednesdays they serve something called Caribbean Salmon. It's a bit different and very good. I'm usually not a fan of jerk chicken but I tried it here and was pleasantly surprised. I would order it again. Friday is their day for soup, and if they have the cowheel soup, get it. It's a somewhat thick, very flavorful broth containing vegetables, dumplings and some pieces of meat. Its delicious and very satisfying. Although they seem to have oxtails most days, other things on the menu are available only on certain days of the week, so if there is something in particular that you want, check the menu or, better yet, give them a call. They don't deliver directly but they do work with DoorDash and some other delivery services. The staff answering the phone have been very pleasant and knowledgeable. If you enjoy good West Indian food or would like to
